About The Position

This position is responsible for driving trucks over established routes to safely and efficiently deliver products and render services. The role involves loading and/or unloading products at various locations, primarily within a specific geographic territory, and will usually be completed within that shift. The driver will deliver items such as perishable foods, table top items, special equipment, and frozen foods. Additionally, the driver will inform customers of new products or services, issue sales promotion materials, and resolve customer complaints. Recording information on daily sales/delivery records and obtaining customer signatures upon pickup/delivery are key tasks. The position requires compliance with company policies and D.O.T. regulations, along with regular and reliable attendance. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must have Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) for tractor trailer operation
Must have a good driving record for past 39 months
One or more years of tractor trailer/route delivery experience
Must be available to work with the demands of the department which are subject to overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays
