About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CDL A Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering flatbed freight, including lumber trusses and other construction materials, with occasional dry van and box truck work. A significant part of the job includes touch freight, where you will load, unload, and place materials using a piggyback forklift (Moffett) while adhering to all safety procedures. The position offers a competitive weekly average pay, with a strong emphasis on home-daily routes for most of the week, though weekend routes may be available for additional compensation. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must hold a valid Class A CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
Minimum 3 years of CDL-A truck driving experience REQUIRED.
Previous CDLA flatbed experience is REQUIRED.
An excellent driving record.
Clean driving record and roadside inspection history.
Must have and maintain a verifiable Commercial Class A Driver’s License, demonstrated safe driving record, and remain insurable through the company’s liability insurance carrier as applicable.
Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift and handle packages of various sizes and weights.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Previous Moffett experience is preferred.
Experience with a piggyback Forklift (aka Moffett) preferred but not required.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

Load, unload, and place materials using a piggyback forklift (Moffett).

Deliver flatbed freight, including lumber trusses and other construction materials.
Perform occasional dry van and box truck work.
Operate in a warehouse/vehicle environment with potential safety/health hazards.
Work beyond standard office hours and on weekends as needed.
