About The Position

Gordon Food Service is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver in Columbus, OH. This role is more than just driving; it focuses approximately 80% on customer service and relationship building. Drivers will become a familiar face to customers, delivering products, providing outstanding service, and building lasting relationships with restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and other foodservice partners. The position offers local routes, day shifts, and the opportunity to be home every night. Training and support are provided for both experienced and newly licensed CDL drivers.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age
Valid Class A CDL at the time of hire
Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads up to 350 pounds
Ability to lift up to 100 pounds throughout the shift
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English to safely perform job duties
Successfully pass a DOT drug screen (including marijuana) and background check
Clean driving record that meets DOT and Gordon Food Service standards
Registered with the DOT Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse and able to provide electronic consent
