This dedicated grocery account provides experienced CDL-A truck drivers with a predictable freight pattern and a consistent weekly operating schedule. Freight moves between Virginia and West Virginia distribution facilities along established lanes designed to keep drivers moving with steady mileage. Drivers typically handle four loads per week averaging approximately 490 miles per run. That produces close to 2,000 miles weekly while maintaining a reliable delivery rhythm. This position works well for professional CDL-A truck drivers who prefer structured regional freight and dependable weekly home time.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Handle four loads per week averaging approximately 490 miles per run.
- Operate late-model sleeper tractors including 2021 or newer Freightliner Cascadia and Kenworth units.
- Support comfort during multi-day regional runs with inverter power systems.
- Transport grocery distribution loads through established supply lanes.
- Utilize drop trailer operations for many loads.
- Perform electric pallet jack unloading for some deliveries.
- Maintain productive miles in both directions through regional freight hubs.
- Complete weekly home time including a full 34-hour reset.
- Occasionally complete 10-hour breaks at home depending on dispatch timing (for drivers living within approximately 30 miles of the distribution location).
- Move freight during evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed due to the nature of grocery distribution.
- Connect Virginia and West Virginia facilities throughout the week via regional lanes.
