About The Position

Our client is hiring CDL-A drivers for a dedicated retail store-delivery account operating out of Haslet, Texas. Freight on this fleet is dry van retail, driver unload assist with hand pallet jack, running Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Kansas, Missouri, Louisiana, Arkansas, Tennessee and Mississippi. Home time is weekly, which makes this a strong fit for drivers who want a predictable routine and a consistent paycheck rather than long, open-ended stretches on the road. Average earnings on this account run $1,130 per week, approximately $58,760 annualized.

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• Minimum of 3 months of verifiable CDL-A driving experience.
• Meet all Department of Transportation qualification requirements.
• Hold a current DOT medical certification.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record and safety history.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and comply with all federal testing requirements.
• Physical capability to perform freight handling, including repeated lifting, climbing in and out of the trailer, and sustained activity across a full shift.
• Hiring within 80 miles of Haslet, TX.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A tractor-trailer safely and legally at all times.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Monitor hours of service and keep logs accurate and current.
• Transport freight on schedule across Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Kansas, Missouri, Louisiana, Arkansas, Tennessee and Mississippi.
• Follow assigned routes, plan fuel and rest stops sensibly.
• Communicate proactively with fleet manager regarding weather, traffic, or customer delays.
• Perform driver unload assist using a hand pallet jack to move pallets to the tail of the trailer.
• Ensure correct pallets are unloaded at the correct store.
• Represent the client professionally at every customer location.
• Maintain the condition and cleanliness of assigned equipment.
• Report mechanical issues promptly.
