About The Position

This dedicated solo driver position offers high-volume regional runs out of Savannah, GA, designed to provide excellent pay for active drivers while ensuring weekly home time. The role involves 100% touch freight, requiring box-by-box unloading with rollers at retail store locations. Drivers will undergo a 1-week paid ride-along training in Savannah, GA. The operating area covers multiple states including FL, GA, SC, and AL, averaging 1,100–1,300 weekly miles. Early morning deliveries necessitate night/early morning driving, and mandatory night, weekend, and holiday shifts are part of the schedule. A secure home parking location for the tractor and trailer is required.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 months of commercial driving experience acquired over the last 3 years (within the past 36 months).
• Valid CDL-A.
• Ability to perform physical unloading of freight.
• Patience and customer service skills.
• Pass strict urine and hair follicle substance screenings.

Responsibilities

• Unload freight box-by-box using rollers at retail store locations.
