CDL-A Dedicated Route Driver – Home Every Week
About The Position
This Dedicated Regional account runs out of Gaffney, SC and delivers into SC, NC, GA, AL, TN, KY, VA, WV, and OH. If you want consistent home time without giving up strong weekly pay, this route is built for that. The driver will operate a Class A tractor-trailer on a dedicated regional route, running multi-stop deliveries, averaging 3 stops per load. The driver will manually unload freight from the trailer and place boxes onto a roller conveyor belt at each delivery point. The driver will also complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintain accurate logs, and stay compliant with all DOT and FMCSA regulations. Communication with dispatch is key to confirm routes, delivery windows, and any on-road issues. Proper freight handling to prevent damage during transit and adherence to all safety protocols are essential.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable SOLO tractor-trailer driving experience
- Acceptable driving record; no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
- No DUI/DWI within the past 5 years
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to pass a background check
- Physically able to manually unload freight at delivery stops
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly during unloading
- Reliable communication with dispatch throughout each shift
