About The Position
Join a dedicated regional retail account offering consistent freight, weekly home time, and brand-new equipment. This touch-freight position is a great fit for CDL-A drivers who enjoy staying active while unloading freight. The regional lane operates out of Ocala, FL, with routes covering surrounding areas including Miami, Fort Myers, the Florida Keys, Tampa, and Orlando. Drivers can expect 3 turns per week with 3-5 stops per load, unloading freight at customer locations using rollers. This position offers weekly home time with a weekly 34-hour reset, and the schedule is based on freight demands.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
- Comfortable unloading freight with rollers
- Able to perform physical freight-handling duties
- Willing to operate regional routes
- Clean driving record
- DOT Medical Card
- No SAP drivers
Responsibilities
- Perform 3 turns per week
- Complete 3-5 stops per load
- Unload freight at customer locations using rollers
- Operate regional routes from Ocala through surrounding areas, including Miami, Fort Myers, the Florida Keys, Tampa, and Orlando
