About The Position

Join a dedicated regional retail account offering strong weekly earnings and home time every week. This touch-freight position is ideal for experienced CDL-A drivers who don't mind staying active while unloading dry freight. The account is based out of Joliet, IL, and drivers can expect to average $93,600 annually with potential for up to $104,000. Drivers will operate automatic sleeper trucks pulling 53' dry van trailers and deliver within IL, WI, IA, MN, MI, IN, and Northern KY. Home time is guaranteed weekly with a 34-hour reset typically occurring on weekends.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL
Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
Comfortable unloading freight with rollers
Able to handle physical/touch freight work
Flexible with schedule and weekly reset days
Clean driving record
DOT Medical Card
No SAP drivers

Drivers may take trucks home if they have a safe and secure parking location.

Responsibilities

Complete approximately 970 miles per week.
Perform 3 turns per week.
Handle 3-5 stops per load.
Unload dry freight using rollers (touch freight).
Deliver within the specified territory: IL, WI, IA, MN, MI, IN, and Northern KY.
Adhere to a weekly reset schedule, typically Saturday-Sunday or Sunday-Monday.
Operate automatic sleeper trucks and 53' dry van trailers.
