About The Position

This Dedicated Regional account runs out of Gaffney, SC and delivers into SC, NC, GA, AL, TN, KY, VA, WV, and OH. If you want consistent home time without giving up strong weekly pay, this route is built for that. The driver will operate a Class A tractor-trailer on a dedicated regional route, running multi-stop deliveries averaging 3 stops per load. The driver will manually unload freight from the trailer and place boxes onto a roller conveyor belt at each delivery point. Responsibilities include completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate logs, staying compliant with DOT and FMCSA regulations, communicating with dispatch, and securing/handling freight properly. All freight is dry van.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL
Minimum 3 months of verifiable SOLO tractor-trailer driving experience
Acceptable driving record; no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
No DUI/DWI within the past 5 years
Ability to pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen
Ability to pass a background check
Physically able to manually unload freight at delivery stops
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly during unloading
Reliable communication with dispatch throughout each shift

Responsibilities

Operate a Class A tractor-trailer on a dedicated regional route across SC, NC, GA, AL, TN, KY, VA, WV, and OH
