This role centers on steady retail store deliveries, keeping you moving on regional loops across Southwest Florida without the burnout of being away from home.
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A
- Up-to-date DOT Medical Card
- Must live within 25 miles of Zip Code 33982 (includes Port Charlotte, Cape Coral, Punta Gorda, Englewood, or North Port).
- Solid driving record
- Clean work history
- Mandatory drug screening
- 0 months experience welcome (must have a valid Class A CDL)
- 6+ months of verifiable CDL-A tractor-trailer experience (local and OTR count)
Responsibilities
- Delivering local grocery freight with live unloads at retail stores.
- Running roughly 2 runs per day logging ~2,200 miles per week.
- Operating clean slip-seat daycabs shared with opposite-shift drivers.
- Working holiday nights if they land on your regularly scheduled dispatch days, based on retail shipping needs.
