About The Position
We are hiring CDL-A drivers for a dedicated Target account based in Newton, NC. This position offers steady miles, consistent freight, and multiple weekly home time opportunities. The dedicated Target account involves dry, no-touch freight with 90% drop & hook and 10% live unload. Deliveries are within 400 miles of the DC, covering NC, VA, MD, and TN. Drivers can expect to average approximately 2,300 miles per week, with loads departing between 08:00 and 23:59. Approximately 50% of driving will be at night.
Requirements
- CDL-A License
- Comfortable with night driving
- Comfortable with weekends and holidays
- Ability to run approximately 2,500 miles/week
Responsibilities
- Transporting freight for a dedicated Target account.
- Performing 90% drop & hook and 10% live unload.
- Completing deliveries within 400 miles of the DC.
- Driving approximately 2,300 miles per week.
- Operating a commercial vehicle safely and efficiently.
