About The Position

This regional dedicated driving opportunity based out of Jackson, MS, offers a balanced schedule for CDL-A truck drivers. Drivers will run multi-state dry van freight for 12 days, averaging 700-750 miles per trip, with primarily drop-and-hook loads. Drivers will have 48 hours home every other weekend. The position utilizes 2021 or newer Freightliner and Kenworth tractors with automatic transmissions, equipped with APUs, inverters, and refrigerators. Rider and pet programs are available after approval. Dispatch and maintenance support are provided.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL
At least 3 months of recent tractor-trailer driving experience
Acceptable driving and safety record
Must meet DOT and company qualification requirements

Nice To Haves

Ability to take assigned truck home during the 48-hour reset if a safe location for tractor parking is available.
Rider program eligibility.
Pet program eligibility.

Responsibilities

Run multi-state dry van freight across multiple states during each work cycle.
Exchange trailers and continue to the next assignment with primarily drop-and-hook freight.
Complete some live unloads depending on the customer.
Maintain a safe driving record.
Utilize provided truck features for extended time away from home.
Coordinate with dispatch for load and routing assistance.
Address equipment concerns with maintenance support.
