About The Position
Feldspar Trucking, a division of Trimac, is a family-run trucking company that specializes in hauling bulk commodities. Their legacy began in 1967 and has continued to serve long-standing customers with exceptional service. This role involves hauling dry bulk materials such as sand, limestone, feldspar, and gypsum. Pick up points include North Carolina, Tennessee, South Carolina, and various locations, with destination points in Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina. Drivers will be out Monday through Friday, returning home by Friday afternoon, and will have full weekends off.
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- 1-year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass Trimac safety assessment
- Past 7 years without: Driving violation involving the consumption of illegal or intoxicating substances
- Past 7 years without: A preventable rollover or fatality crash
- Past 3 years without: License suspensions involving drug and/or alcohol, or a record that would indicate a disregard for public safety
- Past 3 years without: A major preventable accident
- Past 3 years without: Two or more moving convictions
Nice To Haves
- Mountain driving experience preferred
- Winter driving experience preferred
