About The Position

First to Final Logistics is seeking multiple contract CDL-A Airport Freight Drivers to transport dedicated freight from the ATL airport in Atlanta, GA. This role offers a weekly earning potential of $1,400 - $1,800, with additional bonus potential. The position involves round-trip lanes including ATL-MIA-ATL, ATL-IAD-ATL, and ATL-ORD-ATL.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL
Residence within the U.S. and licensed within your state of residence
Current non-excepted interstate DOT medical card (or eligibility to obtain)
1+ years of documented tractor-trailer driving experience within the last 3 years OR 2+ years of documented experience within the last 5 years
3+ years of general driving experience with 2 (or fewer) moving violations or accidents
English language proficiency
Ability to pass a background check

Responsibilities

Properly loading, unloading, and securing airport freight cargo before transporting it in heavy vehicles
Ensuring cargo doesn't get damaged during transit and minimizing shifting
Complying with all DOT and safety regulations
Following all federal, state, and local driving laws
Inspecting the trucks before, during, and after trips and promptly addressing any issues
Checking tire pressure, monitoring oil levels, and completing routine maintenance
Using electronic logging devices (ELDs) to monitor hours, fuel, mileage, and maintenance
Communicating with dispatchers about your routes and schedules, and informing them of delays
