The CD Tech serves as a caretaker and custodian for both clients and the facility. The primary responsibilities include monitoring client conduct, maintaining the cleanliness and order of the premises, orienting new residents to house rules and procedures, and supporting the counseling team. In the absence of the Program Manager, the CD Tech assumes responsibility for all safety matters. The CD Tech must demonstrate self-confidence and sound individual judgment, the ability to de-escalate and resolve conflict within the client community, and a high level of crisis tolerance. This position requires the ability to respond professionally to medical emergencies, convey a positive and professional image to clients, staff, and visitors, and maintain strict client confidentiality.
