We are seeking an experienced and licensed Commercial Security & Low Voltage Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain advanced CCTV and networking systems. This role requires running low-voltage cabling, bending conduit, reading blueprints, and configuring network equipment in commercial environments. You will collaborate closely with Project Managers to deliver high-quality installations that comply with all local and federal codes. Requirements

  • Current, valid state Physical Security license and/or Life Safety license if applicable would be a plus.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record (no DUI/DWI within the last 3 years).
  • Deep knowledge of cabling infrastructure, blueprints, site maps, and closeout documentation.
  • Certified (or willing to get certified in orientation class) to operate a boom or scissor lift and comfortable working at heights.
  • Own basic telecommunication tools, PPE, and reliable transit for the initial training period.
  • Flexible and fully available for project-related travel.

Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain various commercial CCTV systems.
  • Run low-voltage Cat 6 cabling through commercial buildings.
  • Install conduit and drill concrete walls as required for cable pathways.
  • Complete all wiring, setup Main Distribution Frames (MDFs), and troubleshoot network switches.
  • Conduct operational tests and troubleshoot new installations to guarantee functionality.
  • Ensure all systems satisfy customer contracts and meet local, state, and federal codes.
  • Assist Installation Team Leads and Project Managers with schedules and equipment delivery.
