The CCLS Case Manager demonstrates professionalism and a positive attitude in all dealings with members, staff, and other agencies. This role requires dependability, initiative, and enthusiasm, with tact and sensitivity in communicating effectively and respectfully. The individual must learn, understand, and practice Independence Center protocols, policies, language, and skills. A professional demeanor and strong communication skills (verbal, written, telephone, email, text, social media, and other means) are essential. This position requires working autonomously and as part of a team, being intrinsically motivated, flexible to shifts in priorities, and adaptive to changing work requirements, including punctuality and adherence to an established work schedule. The employee must demonstrate the ability to function in a computer-oriented office with working knowledge of relevant software and maintain/improve job skills through training and education. Some schedule flexibility may be required for deadlines, including extended work. This position will ensure the Comprehensive Community Living Support program functions optimally, adhering to regulatory standards and requirements while meeting member support and rehabilitation needs.
