About The Position
The Archdiocese of St. Louis strives to teach and share our faith, serve others, and foster unity throughout the St. Louis area. Once a part of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary's campus, the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury, MO is today the headquarters and curia (governing body) for the Archdiocese of St. Louis. The Office of Peace & Justice is seeking an energetic and motivated Catholic committed to social justice, Catholic Social Teaching, and the eradication of poverty for a paid internship supporting the Catholic Campaign for Human Devolvement.
Requirements
- Must be Catholic.

- Committed to the eradication of poverty.
Responsibilities
- Assist the St. Louis CCHD diocesan director in educating members of the community regarding poverty and Catholic Social Teaching (CST).
- Organize and help to staff events for youth and young adults.
- Promote the CCHD grant program and the annual collection that supports it.
- Maintain social media.
- Discover new potential organizations to fund.
- Promote social justice and anti-poverty work.
- Assist in the evaluation of potential grantees.
