About The Position

We are looking for a Customer Business Unit (CBU) Controller, Ford & CVI, to join our Clean Mobility Division. In this role, The CBU Controller will oversee the financial performance of a multi-customer business unit and serve as a key partner between Finance and the CBU team. The CBU Controller is responsible for ensuring reliable program profitability reporting by leading financial processes, including Strategic Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, and Actuals analysis, while driving cash & economic performance actions at the CBU level. The CBU Controller is also responsible to support both CBU and Finance leadership by providing insights & recommendations to optimize profitability, preparing monthly reporting packages, and tracking key cash & commercial initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Business, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in plant controlling or Business Unit controlling.
  • Strong knowledge of P&L and balance sheet management
  • Comfortable working in complex and ambiguous environments
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • High level of autonomy with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to challenge the status quo
  • Fluent in English

Responsibilities

  • Ensure implementation and adherence to financial procedures and tools
  • Develop, execute, and monitor internal finance processes in line with Group policies
  • Ensure compliance with Faurecia finance procedures and internal controls
  • Standardizing controlling processes across the division
  • Contribute to the development of IT tools and ERP systems to enhance CBU controlling
  • Identify discrepancies and escalate when necessary
  • Monitor program performance across acquisition, development, and serial phases
  • Lead all forecasting processes (Strategic Plan, Budget, periodic forecasts)
  • Oversee and validate VAVE reporting for both actuals and forecasts
  • Manage CBU reporting (P&L, R&D, Squeeze, Overdue, LTC & B/S), ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Review program margins with plant teams and challenge financial assumptions to drive continuous improvement
  • Analyze engineering hours and ensure alignment with program forecasts
  • Deliver consolidated financial analysis, including variance analysis and budget control
  • Lead tooling asset control, including budgeting, billing, intercompany flows, and balance sheet management
  • Manage operating cash flow (Capex, assets, overdue) at the CBU level
  • Support acquisition processes in collaboration with Program Controllers and Sales
  • Act as a strategic partner to Sales, Program Management, Plant and CBU stakeholders
  • Support continuous improvement of the CBU business model
  • Provide actionable insights and recommend initiatives to improve operational and financial performance, especially on cost and workload optimization
