About The Position

Residences on Forrest Lane is seeking a Director for our Assisted Living/CBRF community! The Director is responsible for creating and maintaining high standards of resident satisfaction, staff interactions and resident care. The ideal candidate will have detailed knowledge of regulatory requirements for compliance in a CBRF, experience in developing detailed and appropriate resident assessments, and the ability to provide visible, proactive leadership. About Us We are a not-for-profit, highly respected community-based facility providing a continuum of senior living services that includes nursing care and rehabilitation, assisted living and memory care, and senior residential care for the residents of Montello and its surrounding communities.

Requirements

Detailed knowledge of regulatory requirements for compliance in a CBRF.
Experience in developing detailed and appropriate resident assessments.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
The ability to creatively problem-solve in both resident care and employee management situations.
Be a team player.
Be well organized and flexible.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with people with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide direct oversight, training, and monitoring of staff, delivery of care services and regulatory compliance.
Operating within the approved budget and meeting or exceeding established outcomes.
Foster a strong, cohesive team environment that builds confidence and strong morale among the staff and staff retention.
Work with partner providers to create a pro-active and collaborative relationship.
Build trust with residents and their families through good communication and follow-through.
Work closely with training, motivating, and developing staff to perform at their highest levels.
Work with a team of staff that is responsible for creating a warm, supportive, and safe environment for residents with dementia.
Lead staff in the language of dementia, creative interventions, and facilitating meaningful activity programs.
