About The Position

Eagle Hill is proactively seeking Consulting Senior Associate candidates to fill potential project roles for our U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) client. These projects will provide strategic, operational, and analytical support to enable CBP offices to modernize operations, enhance workforce programs, and improve mission delivery. Applicants must be willing and able to work on client sites within the Washington, DC metro area on a daily basis or as required by the client. Anticipated project work may include Program and Project Management, Strategic Communications, Workforce Engagement, Data Analytics, Process Optimization, Change Management or other Eagle Hill service offerings. At Eagle Hill, Senior Associates contribute to the development of solutions for our clients and take ownership of specific tasks in support of these efforts. They are expected to develop firsthand knowledge of clients and their business problems and contribute to team discussions, analysis, and solutions that help deliver impact for the clients. Senior Associates may also play an active role in broader account or Eagle Hill initiatives and business development activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years performing project-based work with demonstrated ownership of workstreams and/or deliverables in support of client solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to independently drive solution-oriented outcomes by managing workstreams or owning and advancing deliverables, and contributing to overall project execution
  • Strong relationship-building skills with demonstrated success in developing rapport and credibility with clients or other stakeholders
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to tailor communications to all audience levels
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (including Excel and PowerPoint) and demonstrated ability to effectively use virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams)
  • Technical aptitude; ability to quickly learn new technology platforms
  • Experience managing time and meeting deadlines across multiple and competing priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and in collaboration with a team
  • Proven ability to take initiative on projects
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Ability to successfully obtain and retain a CBP Background Investigation (BI), as well as any other background investigations required to perform client work

Nice To Haves

  • Active CBP BI or have held a CBP BI within the last two years
  • Data Analytics skills and experience with relevant platforms (e.g., PowerBI)
  • Strategic communications experience
  • Prior management consulting experience for Federal clients, focused on delivering solutions in Eagle Hill’s service lines (Organizational Performance, Talent, Change Management, Business Intelligence, and/or Technology Enablement)

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the development of client solutions and the creation of strategies, approaches, and implementation plans
  • Developing and conducting stakeholder interviews
  • Developing high quality communications, such as presentations, newsletters, and memos
  • Drafting documentation for client and internal work products
  • Supporting data gathering and analysis to identify gaps and recommendations
  • Facilitating the client’s task management processes
