Requirements

  • At least 1 year of related experience and/or training in a production or manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience working with a high sense of urgency, preferably in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written.
  • Possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Must obtain all state-required permits, licenses, and certifications.
  • State regulations require all applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Will be required to submit to a background check.

Nice To Haves

  • ServSafe Food Handler’s Card preferred.
  • Occasional travel required between buildings and sites.
  • Willingness to obtain forklift certification, if required.

Responsibilities

  • Accurate documentation and tracking of all product inventory using state-mandated systems (METRC or equivalent) and internal tracking systems.
  • Manage inventory before and after packaging, testing, and sales fulfillment.
  • Facilitate and assist with all sale transactions, serving as a point of contact for company sales representatives.
  • Train and coach Inventory Specialists in collaboration with Supervisors and Managers.
  • Assist in inventory control based on company standards and state regulations.
  • Document and enter all inventory from the production kitchen into METRC or other state-specific inventory tracking systems.
  • Clearly label all inventory.
  • Perform daily audits of physical inventory.
  • Collaborate with Inventory Supervisor or Manager on inventory levels and packaging planning.
  • Log all transfers of inventory items into finished packaged sellable units.
  • Fulfill orders, complete manifest documentation, and facilitate the intake and outtake of product with sales representatives.
  • Receive inventory, clearly labeling and documenting it, and entering all inventory from the production kitchen into cannabis tracking systems.
  • Receive, stage, and coordinate the flow of raw materials throughout the facility.
  • Maintain a clean and organized inventory vault and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Schedule batch testing pickups.
  • Receive test results and upload them to the production server.
  • Effectively communicate information and respond to questions/suggestions from various levels within the company.
  • Report any product or production equipment that appears damaged, spoiled, broken, unusable, or unsatisfactory in any way to supervisors.
  • Communicate discrepancies in quantities or quality of product.
  • Participate in training Inventory employees and assist with planning, assigning, and directing work.
  • Address complaints and resolve problems.
  • Perform other duties, responsibilities, and activities as assigned.
