About The Position

Prep fiberglass part(s) by grinding, trimming, drilling, and cutting using pre-established measurements, drill guides and templates. Move parts into the grinding booth, pull part from mold. Grind, trim, drill and cut parts, using hand tools, power tools and pneumatic tools. Use proper equipment and processes. Layout of options by reading work orders, using prints and/or overlays. General housekeeping of tools, area, and department, this includes keeping track of the filter log for the dust chamber. Work quickly, safely, and efficiently to meet production schedule and tack times.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
  • General math skills required.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
