About The Position

The Cayuse Kapi Attendant is responsible for providing prompt and friendly service, quality beverages including espresso and coffee drinks, and quality food. The attendant is also responsible for conducting cash register transactions and maintaining a clean atmosphere.

Requirements

  • High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have at least two months experience in related position.
  • Must have basic math skills.
  • Verbal communication and guest service skills required.
  • Prior money handling skills, computer skills, required.
  • Must be knowledgeable in areas regarding operation of Commercial Espresso machines, cooking equipment and have a basic working knowledge of beverages.
  • Must be able to obtain required food handlers certification prior to the start of employment.
  • Obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and connect with every Guest that approaches Cayuse Kapi.
  • Discovers your Guests needs and appropriately suggest product to enhance service and meet sales goals.
  • Prepare beverage and food of the highest quality by following standards of service for Cayuse Kapi.
  • May be responsible for food prep related to the deli operation including making sandwiches, salads and preparing desserts. Other preparation of food items may be required per manager discretion.
  • Operate cash register and handles money efficiently and promptly.
  • Clean and maintain the appearance of all merchandise and guest area.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and their requests.
  • Learn the STC Mission statement and strive to excel with Guest service standards.
  • Responsible for multi-tasking and assisting Guests swiftly and efficiently.
  • Responsible for effectively communicating with guests, teammates and management.
  • Will be responsible for reacting to issues and problem solving to meet the Guests needs while complying with SOPs, IC’s and the STC Handbook.
  • Will be required to report any issues or situations to supervisory and management staff in the case that service recovery assistance is needed.
  • Monitor stock and communicate inventory needs with supervisor.
  • Will communicate frequently with kitchen staff to ensure that fresh order items are being delivered timely.
  • Other duties as assigned.
