About The Position
Responsible for planning, coordinating, and administering a Catholic Religious Education (RE) and sacramental preparation program to support the spiritual development of the Catholic community.
Requirements
- Practicing Roman Catholic in good standing
- Catechist Certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in religious education or program coordination
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Religious Education, Theology, or related field
Responsibilities
- Organize and lead weekly RE programs for all age groups (Pre-K through adult)
- Coordinate parish activities, ministries, and special events
- Recruit, train, and manage volunteers and catechists
- Develop annual program plans, schedules, and budgets
- Communicate with parents, staff, and chapel leadership
- Manage classroom logistics, supplies, and facilities
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and program evaluations
