About The Position
SCA Health is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist for Optum Heart & Vascular Surgery Center. The role involves operating a C-arm and assisting the operating physician during procedures, serving as the Radiation Safety Officer, and restocking materials used for procedures. The technologist will also perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of direct Cath Lab experience.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited radiology program.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) credential as required by state.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
Nice To Haves
- Comfort with Cath Lab procedures, including heart catheterizations, coronary interventions, peripheral interventions, and device implants.
- Familiarity with Philips imaging and monitoring systems.
Responsibilities
- Run the C-arm and assist the operating physician during procedures.
- Serve as the Radiation Safety Officer.
- Restock materials used for procedures.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
