About The Position

This role involves monitoring real-time physiological data during complex procedures, executing hemodynamic calculations, preparing and managing specialized cardiovascular supplies and equipment, partnering with interventional cardiologists, and educating patients and families on post-procedure care.

Requirements

  • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Certified Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor real-time physiological data—including heart rhythms, blood pressures, and oxygen saturations—to instantly detect and communicate critical status changes to the physician during complex procedures.
  • Execute accurate hemodynamic calculations, cardiac output assessments, and intra-procedure testing to equip the care team with vital diagnostic data for informed clinical decisions.
  • Prepare, maintain, and manage specialized cardiovascular supplies and equipment while upholding strict aseptic technique and infection control protocols to safeguard the sterile field.
  • Partner closely with interventional cardiologists by anticipating procedural needs and adapting quickly to evolving case dynamics to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families on post-procedure care, catheter site monitoring, and activity guidelines to empower a safe, smooth recovery at home.
