About The Position
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cath Lab Technologist for a travel contract position in Santa Monica, CA. This role involves working in an acute care hospital that serves as a STEMI and Stroke Receiving Center. The technologist will be part of a team in one of the four Cath Labs, utilizing the Epic charting system. This is a 13-week contract with a day shift schedule of 4x10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday. The position requires flexibility to float between specialties within the Cath Lab and includes on-call responsibilities.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care Cath Lab experience.
- Active California Radiologic Technologist License.
- California Fluoroscopy Permit.
- AHA BLS certification.
- AHA ACLS certification.
- ARRT (R) certification (RCIS accepted in lieu of ARRT).
- Willingness to float between specialties within the Cath Lab.
Nice To Haves
- First-time travelers accepted.
- Stroke and/or Interventional Radiology (IR) experience strongly preferred.
- EP and Structural Heart experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterizations.
- Assist with interventional cardiology procedures.
- Participate in STEMI procedures.
- Assist with stroke interventions.
- Assist with Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures.
- Assist with neurointerventional procedures.
- Assist with Venous Thromboembolism (VTE) Thrombectomy.
- Assist with TAVR procedures.
- Assist with TMVR procedures.
- Assist with Watchman Procedures.
- Assist with MitraClip procedures.
- Float between different specialties within the Cath Lab as needed.
- Provide on-call coverage during weekdays and weekends/holidays.
