About The Position
Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a per diem position in Redding, CA. This role involves assisting physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures, monitoring patient data, and ensuring the procedure room is adequately prepared. The position is for 12 weeks with flexible day shifts available. Requirements
- ARRT-R and licenses as required by State.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Current ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab and/or Interventional Radiology.
- Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab.
- Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure.
- Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies.
- Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff.
- Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.
