About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Cath Lab Technician to join a high-performing cardiac catheterization team in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, ensuring patient safety, procedural efficiency, and adherence to clinical standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of Cath Lab experience required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – AHA required

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• RCIS or RCVT certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of Cath Lab procedures and sterile technique
• Experience with hemodynamic monitoring systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Prepare and maintain sterile field, instruments, and supplies
• Scrub and circulate during procedures as required
• Operate hemodynamic monitoring systems and imaging equipment
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes during procedures
• Administer contrast media and medications as directed
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with clinical protocols
• Follow infection control, radiation safety, and hospital policies
• Float to nearby facilities within the network as needed
