Cath Lab Technician
About The Position
Performs a variety of cardiovascular procedures to provide an efficient, comfortable, and safe examination of all patients. The role calls for independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. The technician is proficient in all aspects of the designated procedural area, including preparation, assessment, documentation, and monitoring in accordance with policies and procedures. The technician assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures, leads the work of other staff and students as required, and actively participates in outstanding customer service while maintaining respectful relationships. May take call after hours as designated.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic science, cardiovascular technology, or nursing.
- Minimum of 1 year of previous cath lab experience.
- Appropriate current state licensure.
Responsibilities
