About The Position

Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Cath Lab Technician in Hickory, North Carolina. This role is with a 355-bed acute care hospital supporting a growing cardiovascular service line. The technician will provide direct and indirect patient care within a high-volume Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, working closely with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams. Requirements

Current ARRT certification REQUIRED OR RCIS certification REQUIRED
Basic Life Support (BLS) REQUIRED
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire
Associate degree from a Radiologic Technology program required unless waived for equivalent Cath Lab experience
Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills REQUIRED
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced acute care environment REQUIRED

Nice To Haves

Hospital experience preferred
Acute care or rehabilitation setting experience preferred

Responsibilities

Provide direct and indirect patient care according to Cath Lab standards of practice
Monitor, assess, and communicate patient conditions throughout care delivery
Assist with individualized patient care planning and treatment implementation
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
Provide patient and family education
Advocate for patient safety and quality outcomes
Support procedural and operational excellence within the Cath Lab environment
