About The Position

Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking Cath Lab Techs for multiple travel/contract positions in Midland, MI. This position involves setting up radiographic equipment for angiographic and cath lab procedures, processing and performing quality control checks on cine radiographic images. The role also includes assisting in patient preparation, sterile tray setup, post-cath care, and room cleanup. The technician will manipulate equipment, set radiographic generator techniques for optimal image quality, and operate various electronic equipment such as cardiac output computers, oxygen saturation equipment, hemodynamic equipment, and pacemakers.

Requirements

Reside beyond a 50-mile radius of the facility location.
2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience.
Covid Vaccination.
ARRT Cert.
BLS Certification from AHA.
ACLS Certification from AHA.

Nice To Haves

Prior Travel Nursing experience.

Responsibilities

Sets up all radiographic equipment prior to performing angiographic and cath lab procedures.
Processes and performs quality control checks on cine radiographic images.
Assists in preparing patient for procedures.
Assists other members of the cath lab/Interventional Radiology staff and physicians as needed to ensure timely and efficient use of the cardiac cath lab/special procedures.
Assists in prepping patients, sterile tray set up, post-cath care and procedures, and room clean up.
Manipulates equipment and sets appropriate techniques on radiographic generators to achieve optimal image quality.
Operates a variety of electronic equipment including cardiac output computers, oxygen saturation equipment, hemodynamic equipment, pacemakers, etc.
Performs oxygen saturation studies and cardiac output measurements.
