About The Position

The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist provides technical and imaging support during invasive and interventional cardiac procedures. This role works collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality care for patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures in the acute care setting.

Requirements

Associate or bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or a related allied health field from an accredited program.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in acute care specialty nursing.
One (1) to three (3) years of experience in Cath Lab.
Strong knowledge of coronary anatomy, cardiac physiology, and hemodynamics.
Proficiency in sterile technique, radiation safety, and contrast administration.
Ability to recognize and respond to cardiac arrhythmias and hemodynamic instability.
Ability to function effectively in high-acuity, time-sensitive situations.
Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
Ability to adapt to rapidly changing clinical priorities.
Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT[R]) through ARRT or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through CCI required within one calendar year of start date.
Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and/or required specialty training or course completion (current upon hire) as required by specialty.
