Local Cath Lab Tech | $72/hour
About The Position
We are seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist, also referred to as a Cath Lab Technologist or Cath Lab Tech. A Cath Lab Tech will be a specialized healthcare professional dedicated to assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of heart and vascular conditions. Their responsibilities primarily involve performing diagnostic tests, managing equipment, and supporting physicians during procedures. Cardiovascular technologists are essential to cardiac care, ensuring accurate diagnostics, safe interventions, and high-quality patient support. Their expertise is crucial to the efficient operation of the cardiology department at our hospital.
Requirements
- BLS (AHA), required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), required
- ARRT & RCIS (with IR experience preferred)
- 2 years minimum experience
- Must be willing to float between two (2) locations: Mesquite, TX, 75149 and Farmers Branch, TX 75234
- Participation in a rotating on-call schedule (approximately 12-15 days per month, including every other weekend)
- Experience with Epic EMR system
