About The Position
The Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) works in cardiology. The role is a 13-week contract with day shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Candidates need less than one year of experience. Prior procedural hospital experience in interventional radiology (IR), electrophysiology (EP), or a cath lab is preferred. An associate’s degree or two years of work experience above the minimum qualification is required. The candidate must graduate from an RCIS, RCES, or ARRT-R program within six months of hire.
Requirements
- Less than one year of experience required.
- An associate’s degree or two years of work experience above the minimum qualification.
- Graduation from an RCIS, RCES, or ARRT-R program within six months of hire.
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications, with ACLS obtained within 30 days of hire.
- One of the following certifications: ARRT-R (with Texas MRT), RCIS, RCES, CEPS, or CCDS.
- Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license is required if qualifying through ARRT-R.
Nice To Haves
