About The Position
The Cath Lab Tech performs specialized cardiovascular procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. Duties include recording hemodynamic pressures and computerized data, operating special X-ray equipment, burning compact disks, and assisting invasive/interventional cardiologists, vascular surgeons, and electrophysiologists with procedures using sterile technique. The role requires knowledge of cardiac medications.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited, competency-based program in radiologic technology.
- Radiologic Technology registration/licensure as required (ARRT).
- Florida License CRT.
- RCIS certification within 12 months of hire.
- AHA ACLS Certification.
- AHA BLS Certification.
Nice To Haves
- Two years’ experience in an acute care setting preferred.
