About The Position

Under the general direction of a physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), the Cath Lab Tech assists with procedures by scrubbing or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures in the cardiovascular lab. The role ensures the procedure room is adequately prepared, monitors par levels of instruments and supplies, participates in staff meetings and performance improvement activities, and helps train new staff. The technician assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

This is a full-time, day-shift position at Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Eight-hour schedule options are available, and some call is required. A sign-on bonus of $20,000 is available for qualified candidates; eligibility and payout terms apply and are discussed during the interview process.

Requirements

• BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintained as current.
• Required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• ARRT-R and state-required license, or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
• Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab.

Responsibilities
