About The Position
The Technologist (RCIS) assists the physician during all invasive cardiology procedures. Provide patient care to all invasive cardiology patients, including acquisition and reduction of all pertinent information related to their procedure. Provide didactic and clerical training to employee and CVT students. Patient care includes care to patients in the following age groups: adolescent (13 to 17 years), adult (18-64 years, and geriatric (over 64 years).
Requirements
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist or registry eligible (by an authorized accredited Cardiovascular Association) RCIS to be obtained within 2 years of hire.
- One (1) to two (2) years experience.
- BCLS Certification, must be completed prior to end of orientation period.
- ACLS Certification.
