This role involves providing services to patients under direct supervision, delivering precise diagnostic images by expertly positioning patients and accurately selecting technical parameters, ensuring optimal image quality and patient comfort during all procedures. The intern will also protect patients and team members by rigorously implementing and maintaining radiation protection and safety standards, support high-quality patient care by preparing for and actively assisting supervising technologists and physicians during complex diagnostic and interventional procedures, and ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance by accurately preparing and administering contrast media and medications within accepted scope of practice and legal guidelines.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• High school diploma equivalency OR Enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline required.

Responsibilities

• Provide services to patients under the direct supervision.
• Deliver precise diagnostic images by expertly positioning patients and accurately selecting technical parameters, ensuring optimal image quality and patient comfort during all procedures.
• Protect patients and team members by rigorously implementing and maintaining radiation protection and safety standards throughout every imaging session.
• Support high-quality patient care by preparing for and actively assisting supervising technologists and physicians during a variety of complex diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance by accurately preparing and administering contrast media and medications within accepted scope of practice and legal guidelines.
