About The Position
Piedmont Newnan Cath Lab Tech Full Time Status Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac procedures. Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab Equipment and maintenance of it and administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited a RCIS program Required or Graduate of an accredited program in nursing, respiratory, paramedic, imaging, or exercise physiology. Required
- 1 year Healthcare Imaging, Exercise Physiology, Paramedic, Respiratory, or RN experience Required or No experience required if a graduate of an RCIS program Required
- Based on healthcare experience (see above), applicable license. Upon Hire Required
- RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist If a graduate of RCIS program RCIS within 2 Years Required or RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Upon Hire Required or RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist Upon Hire Required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
- ACLS Upon Hire Required
Responsibilities

- Administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures.
