About The Position
Sparta Networking is seeking an experienced Cath Lab / Special Procedures Tech for a contract opportunity with our client in Pikeville, KY. This role supports cardiac catheterization and special procedures, working closely with physicians and clinical staff to deliver high-quality diagnostic and interventional care.
Requirements
- ARRT certification
- Kentucky State certification
- BLS certification
- EKG training/certification
- ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire
- PALS certification required within 24 months of hire
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and special procedures, including diagnostic and interventional cases
- Operate imaging and monitoring equipment during procedures
- Prepare and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
- Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety throughout all procedures
- Perform EKGs and assist with related diagnostic testing
- Document procedures accurately in the patient record
- Collaborate with the cath lab team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care
