About The Position

CLS Health is a growing, physician-led healthcare system in Houston, Texas, focused on providing holistic, multispecialty care. The Cath Lab Scrub Tech supports cardiologists and registered nurses during interventional and invasive cardiac procedures. The role helps maintain sterile technique and ensures procedures are conducted safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• Certified Surgical Tech (CST) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Cath Lab, OR, or similar procedural environment.
• Knowledge of sterile technique and cardiovascular equipment.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile fields and set up necessary instruments and supplies.
• Assist physicians during procedures such as angiograms, stent placements, pacemaker/ICD implants, and peripheral interventions.
• Ensure equipment is functioning properly.
• Handle specimens and documentation accurately.
• Maintain a safe, compliant procedural environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
