About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a full-time Invasive Cardiology RN for their Cath Lab. This role involves caring for adult Cardiology, Electrophysiology, and Vascular patients. The position operates on a 4/10 hour day shift schedule with on-call requirements. The Cath Lab team consists of RNs and Rad Techs working collaboratively in 3-4 person teams to manage procedural patient care, working alongside proceduralists and anesthesia providers. The facility has 5 total invasive cardiology labs, including 2 electrophysiology labs. Requirements

• Associates Degree in Nursing
• RN License
• Minimum 2 years of high-level Cardiovascular ICU/CVICU and/or Cath Lab RN experience. ER candidates with minimum 2 years of level I Trauma experience will be considered.
• 1 Year of recent Critical Care experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or obtain with (30) thirty days of hire or transfer
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or obtain with (30) thirty days of hire or transfer

Responsibilities

• Manage procedural patient care in collaboration with the proceduralist and anesthesia providers.
• Work as part of a 3-4 person team comprised of RNs and Rad Techs.
• Provide care for adult Cardiology, Electrophysiology, and Vascular patients.
• Fulfill on-call requirements one day a week and one weekend every six weeks, maintaining a 30-minute call radius.
