About The Position

The Invasive Cardiology RN in the Cath Lab will care for Adult Cardiology, Electrophysiology, and Vascular patients. This is a Full Time position working 4/10 Hour Days. The role requires being on call one day a week and one weekend every six weeks, with a requirement to be within a 30-minute call radius. The position involves working in a team of 3-4 RNs and Rad Techs to manage procedural patient care, collaborating with proceduralists and anesthesia providers. The facility has 5 total invasive cardiology labs, including 2 electrophysiology labs.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of high-level Cardiovascular ICU/CVICU and/or Cath Lab RN experience.
• Will consider ER candidates with minimum 2 years of level I Trauma experience.
• Associates Degree in Nursing
• RN License
• 1 Year of recent Critical Care experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or obtain with (30) thirty days of hire or transfer
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or obtain with (30) thirty days of hire or transfer
• Must be within 30min call radius.

Responsibilities

• Manage procedural patient care in collaboration with proceduralists and anesthesia providers.
• Work as part of a 3-4 person team comprised of RNs and Rad Techs.
• Care for Adult Cardiology, Electrophysiology, and Vascular patients.
