About The Position

Precision Scans is hiring a Cath Lab Rad Tech for a traveler position in Joliet, Illinois. The role is scheduled for 5 days per week, with listed shift hours of 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. On-call work is required. The assignment is scheduled to run from November 16, 2026, through February 14, 2027, at $65–$70 per hour. The position requires ARRT-R and a state-required license or RCIS, along with ARRT-CI, ARRT-VI, or RCI credentials. Prior experience in a cardiovascular lab or interventional radiology department is required. A cardiovascular technologist training program emphasizing invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring is preferred. BCLS (AHA) is required upon hire and must be kept current; ACLS is required within 30 days of hire. Proficient computer skills are required. Requirements

ARRT-R and a license as required by the state, or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), required.
ARRT-CI (Cardiac Interventional Technologist), ARRT-VI (Vascular Interventional Technologist), or RCI credential required.
Previous experience in a cardiovascular lab or interventional radiology department required.
BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and must be maintained as current.
ACLS required within 30 days of hire.
Proficient computer skills.
On-call work required.
