About The Position

Job Summary: We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Catering waitstaff to join our team. As a member of our catering team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our guests during formal dinners, weddings, and special events. Event dates and availability needs will be communicated in advance. Opportunities to cross train and pick up other Food & Beverage work shifts may be available. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Set up and prepare dining areas for events, ensuring all tables, chairs, linens, and table settings are arranged according to event specifications. Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout the event, including taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing any guest needs or concerns. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages. Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas during and after events. Assist with the breakdown and cleanup of events, including clearing tables, removing linens, and resetting the space for the next event. Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for guests and staff. Provide exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming and memorable atmosphere for all guests.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in catering, banquet, or restaurant service is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality service.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset
