About The Position

The Catering Manager is responsible for soliciting and booking business to achieve sales goals and objectives. Selling and coordinating food, beverage, décor, entertainment, audio visual, etc. for all group sales booked; while generating maximum revenue from each group. The Catering Manager will be responsible for assisting the Banquet Services department when needed.

Requirements

  • Requires a High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Candidates must be able to communicate, read and write in English fluently and in a professional manner. The ability to speak a second language is a plus.
  • Requires a minimum if 5 years work experience in an upscale catering/ conference services environment.
  • Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years in catering sales management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Delphi are preferred.
  • Candidates must exhibit leadership skills and the ability to work self-managed.
  • Requires the ability to work efficiently within a team environment.
  • Applicants must be a minimum age of 21 years or older.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards required, at present or in the future, for this position at all times
