About The Position
This is a part-time, event-based position in partnership with Fiserv Forum, Milwaukee Bucks, and Marquette Eagles. It is a union position with a wage of $23.00/hr. Levy leverages creativity, custom strategies, impeccable service, and a love for great food to create unforgettable experiences. Founded in Chicago 40 years ago, Levy is a leading presence in the Food, Beverage, and Retail industry across over 200 Entertainment, Sports, and Restaurant venues nationwide.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred
- Lifts and transports up to 40 lbs.
- Frequently reaches, lifts, stoops, bends and cleans to maintain service area
- Walks and stands during entire shift
- Possible job hazards include, but are not limited to; slips, trips, falls, burns, cuts and strains
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and possess any required certifications to do so
- Able to communicate effectively with managers, guests and teammates by speaking and comprehending English
Nice To Haves
- Previous catering service experience
- Ability to read and understand BEOs
- Understanding of how to set up buffet line
- Displays a positive demeanor towards fellow staff and management
- Strong communication skills to communicate effectively with guests, teammates, and management
- Must be ServSafe certified
Responsibilities
- Completes steps of service to ensure utmost guest satisfaction
- Understands and can describe menu offerings, packaging/presentation and pricing
- Responds to guest needs and requests
- Always exceeds guest expectations
- Adheres to location appearance guidelines
- Acts with a sense of urgency and provides friendly, efficient service to teammates and guests
- Maintains service areas
- Employs good safety and sanitation practices
- Follows responsible alcohol service policies
- Thoroughly completes all station set-up and breakdown responsibilities
- Communicates guest issues to management
- Adheres to Levy Restaurants Company guidelines as stated in team member training manual and employee handbook
- Displays a positive attitude toward teammates and managers
- Helps fellow team members whenever necessary
- Always on time and ready to perform required duties
